Sales Executive

DSC-IT is a leading WA based IT Services Company specialising in Managed Services, Unified Communications and Infrastructure solutions. Founded in 2000 the DSC business has organically grown with a balance of Government and Commercial clients from its humble beginnings at our Mounts bay road office to new offices in central Subiaco. We are expanding our sales team, and are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales Executive to join us. Job Role and Responsibilities:
The job involves selling our core offerings and technology consulting services to a client base predominantly in the Small to Medium Enterprise market segment, and will include a mix of Business Development and Account Management duties, backed up by a technical pre-sales team for the complex opportunities and a sales support officer for pricing and logistical support. As DSC’s Sales Team expands further in the future, there will also be promotion opportunities for the position of Sales Manager in the future.

Required Skills:
DSC’s core offerings consist of IT Managed Services, and infrastructure and Unified Communications solutions based around Microsoft technologies and products such as Lync, Systems Centre, Exchange, Office 365, VMWare, Veeam, and similar products and technologies. As such, knowledge of and experience selling the above would be highly advantageous.
The successful candidate must have a proven track record within a WA-based sales environment, focused on one or more of the above offerings or equivalent. They should possess excellent interpersonal skills, along with good presentation skills and a high standard of spoken and written English which includes proposal writing. The ability to work well in a small team, sometimes under pressure, whilst maintaining a good sense of humour should be considered essential attributes for potential applicants. A demonstrated history of experience and sales results, working in the Perth IT market over several years is highly desirable.

Terms of Employment:
This is a full time position, with a highly competitive salary and un-capped commission package available, to be negotiated based on experience.
